Release Calendar and Product Development Roadmap

  

ChemWare's product development roadmap is driven primarily by customer input, market research, and an ever-changing informatics landscape, incorporating advancements in Microsoft's operating systems and Oracle's database and development tools. HORIZON v11.2 and v12.4 are the most current releases. HORIZON users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest, fully supported release prior to these dates; thereafter, extended support (bug fixes and troubleshooting) will be made available on a best effort, time and materials basis. The following summarizes the current HORIZON product roadmap schedule:

Please refer to the latest Product Roadmap Update for additional details, along with the official Release Notes published with each major release, to determine which components are certified for compatibility. Uncertified components may still be supported on a "best effort" basis (issues with an uncertified environment may require rolling back to the most recent certified components based on the product compatibility matrix above). Regardless of compatibility status, no program, component or module should ever be installed or updated directly into a production environment before undergoing thorough validation in a dedicated test/QA environment.
