HORIZON LIMS in Environmental and Industrial Hygiene Laboratories

HORIZON® is an enterprise-wide LIMS for managing the analytical and administrative work of environmental laboratories and industrial hygiene laboratories. HORIZON completely automates the scheduling and tracking of samples, collection of results from instruments, preparation of final client reports, report delivery, and generation of invoices. HORIZON was designed to streamline the operations and data deliverables of laboratories performing tests ranging from routine monitoring work to full analysis of complex hazardous waste for hundreds of test parameters and unknowns.

Most HORIZON laboratories are continuously audited by various regulatory agencies, and are required to follow some of the most stringent analytical, chain of custody, and quality control requirements — such as those specified by the AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association), CLP (Contract Laboratory Program), NELAP (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program), AFCEE (Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence), ACOE (Army Corps of Engineers), NYDOH (New York Department of Health), NJDEP (New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection), FDER (Florida Department of Environmental Regulation) and other federal, state and local authorities.

HORIZON is the only commercial LIMS capable of generating the most complex environmental deliverables at the push-of-a-button -- with no manual data entry or data integration of any kind.
